I got a call from 818 890 6843 and left a voice message lawsuit is being filed by the IRS against me and to call 202-239-6855, when I called back they just said hello and hung up.
I also received a call when I answered s voice message said a lawsuit is being filed by the IRS against me and to call 202-239-6855, I am in Colorado. I am sure this is a scam, IRS will notify you before any collection activities or lawsuits are filed.
Got 2 calls from 503-888-9043 from Auburn, California a minute apart. Voice mail said it was our last warning and the IRS was filing a lawsuit against us and we needed to call 202-239-6855. I called the number and it says I have reached an un working number. I called the number the original call came in on and and spoke to a woman that said it was her residence and she has been getting these calls and has reported this and we need to report it as well. Also, the area code 503 is not Auburn, Ca but Portland, Oregon.
I made an error in my above post....the area code IS not Portland Oregon. And...it is not a residence, that number is also disconnected. Sorry. Misdialed the area code. Dialed 530 instead of 503. But...the woman I spoke with has gotten many calls on her number as well.
