They called me pretnending to be Jordan Jobs from the IRS and he said he was the DC Bureau Chief. He kept yelling at my that I had filed my 2011 return incorrectly and that he was sending the sherriff for me in 30 min. Eventually he would've asked me to send him money but I called him out on the scam and he stopped calling me back.
Yep same call from Jordan Jobs (senior IRS agent). Told me that the local sheriff was on the way to arrest me.
I proceeded to call him out as a scam artist, and informed him that impersonating a federal agent was a big no-no. Told him I recorded the phone call and was sending it up the line for prosecution. Had him begging me not to do that.
I had a good time making him crawl.
BTW: if they call you report them to www.TIGTA.gov
Man called, could hardly speak english, fumbled over his words, cutting in and out, the number was 1-202-239-8713. Requested over $2000 by the end of this year.
