I got a message, from this number as well as 310-362-5528, and I knew right away it's a scam. The IRS has never sent me anything, in the mail, saying I owe money and I pay my taxes correctly. I'm reporting this to authorities and I will send them the recorded messages if needed. They need to shut this scam down and put these people away! Always ask for a badge number and a legitimate phone number to call someone back! Then, contact the IRS to verify this is real before you ever deal with anyone who's claiming you owe money to the government. Besides, they don't have you pay without a process and you can refute the amount if it's not right. They will contact you via the US postal service first and many times...not through an electronic message on the phone (threatening to sue you) where you have no idea what's going on! I hope these people pay for their crimes. I'm sure they are hurting others...who fall for this crime against humanity.
