I think this is a Tax Fraud number. It was a voice automated call and the voice sounds like its computer generated. It didn't leave any info other than to call the number back to say that it's the IRS. I think the IRS would send a formal letter.

I called this number back and a lady with heavy accent answered "IRS". Was very rude and she hung up because I couldn't understand her. Called again and the same lady answered. I told her that I reported this number to IRS and she hung up immediately. a scam.
Got a call from this number but its automated call telling to call Back else IRS will file law suit against me. When I called the number a lady with heavy accent picked up call and told me that I have stole money from IRS by not paying my taxes correctly and amount due is $7k and if law suit is filed total amount will be $38k including court cost at that point I asked that I have not received any letter for the same and she gave me an address which is not my address so I told her that I will call IRS to the number I have and talk to them regarding the same and I hung up cas it sounded like a scam.
Didn't bother to answer. Just called me in Marietta, GA. Left the following computer voice message:
"Return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. I am officer Julie Smith from internal revenue service and the hotline to my division is 2022410089. I repeat it's 2022410089. Don't disregard this message and do return the call before we take any action against you. Goodbye and take care."
