Scammer called AGAIN for the 3rd time today! Said we had a missed call from this number... I said we wanted to know who you were... he said officer so and so from the IRS... I said well that's a lie!... He said OK thank you... hung up. LOL
When the woman with the thick accent responded to my hello saying the irs has filed a case against me...I responded by saying that I doubted it since she wasn't even pronouncing where she was calling from correctly. She then asked me "how to pronounce-you are in big trouble" I said, "okay well I will call the police and you've called a recorded line...is there anything else you want to add?" She stayed silent for a few seconds and hung up. Just wondering if anyone else is a comcast customer...since I only use this home phone# to get a better package on my bill and literally have never used it for anything.
Getting sick and fed up, same story as all of us, IRS threats scams, I am receiving 4 calls a day now, I listened then hang up, the calls continue, if I don't say Hello in the phone, they call again, I can't win, they keep calling, Girl with an Indian accent. If I could block them from my phone I would but my phone co. does not offer the service. :(
I received 2 calls from the same number today…the 1st time they left a message. The lady with an Hispanic accent she was with the IRS and that she wanted to speak to my lawyer immediately. SHe also ended the call saying that if I didn't call back immediately, that she wished me good luck and the help of God to get through this situation!
