yes. my dad got the same call yesterday. I called 50 times and got the same automated msg. Three hours later I finally got through and "Rick Cooper" said we owed the IRS.
I heard a chime melody when I answered my phone at 6 pm this evening, I knew it was either a telemarketer or some other scam caller. Before the caller said anything I said "who this f*ck is this?" the caller seemed quite shocked and said "you shouldn't use that word". I continued with the foulest language I could muster until exasperated the caller said "f*ck you". I don't know is this will stop these people from calling me but it was fun to get the upper hand for once.
This number called me twice: first time to tell me that I was in some sort of trouble and if I did not call back, good luck to me and blessings too-since I was pretty much on my own; second time called to tell me that there is an investigation warrant by police for me. Just plain annoying!
just got this call and Peter Katz badge #0105 had arrest warrant #PE1021414 under my name and address. i was already reading these posts about this number and knew it was a scam. he asked me if i wanted my information forwarded to the local police and be arrested and i said yes, forward my information to the local police and i will deal with them. he kept asking me if i wanted my information forwarded to the local police to which i repeated over and over again, yes, forward my information to the local police. he said what will happen to my husband and children if i go to jail. i responded that if they actually knew anything about me, they would know they'll be just fine--i'm single and have no children, so my non-existent family will be just fine--he tried that tactic again, to which i again responded that they'll be fine. he said even if you spend 7 years in jail? i told him, yup, they'll be good. he said ok, i will be showing up at your door and arresting you and you will see my face. told him, ok! sorry, not getting a dime from me...but i enjoyed toying with them for a change! it was pretty comical to hear this guy not know what to do when i told him to send my information to the local police and that i'd happily go to jail! not only did he have an accent, making it hard for me to give him any sort of credibility, but as many times as he said "like", sealed the deal...what a moron!
