Received a call from 202-241-2340. Scam call that the IRS has an arrest warrant for me! Never heard of the IRS contacting people by phone. Hung up before the call got past Officer Brown identifying himself. Obvious SCAM call!!!! Beware... so many dishonest people in the world today! So sad!!!

PLEASE NOTE !!! THESE SCAMMERS ARE ALSO IMPERSONATING THE US GOV'T / SEVERAL GOV'T OFFICES AND PERSONS....BEWARE !!!
- they are also impersonating DEA officials / IRS / FAKE LAW FIRMS etc.... with threats to arrest you unless you immediately send money via wire transfer / western union to some offshore country !!!!! obvious scam !!!
some are landlines...many are cell phones...some are spoofed and linked to offshore foreign call centers / countries !!!!
we've traced back most of these numbers to offshore foreign call centers mostly in INDIA / THAILAND / AFRICA / JAMAICA / NIGERIA ETC....
here's a few other numbers posted from the same area code offering a wide variety of scams / fake emails and scams after posting something on craigslist ( old scam ) ...... collecting for non existant " payday loans "....free money / scam giveaways / calling on behalf of a humane society..... $1,000's in free gov't money......... etc etc.....stories change out all the time......and the usual nonsense!!!
** mysteriously call to claim they have several thousand of dollars to send you / give ....just provide your bank account and credit card right away etc etc.........scam scam

This company kept calling me today as well, I asked them for my social security number which they could not provide. The number was 202-241-2340 and when I did a reverse phone look up it is a scam!
My mother has been getting daily calls by Officer John White he leave a message to call back but never said where he was call from until today he said he was from the IRS. She call him back and asked for a Spanish speaking person, he said he did have one and told her that she had a warrant for her arrest. She then told him my daughter will call you back. When I did I ask him for all his information and then told him not to call again or I would call the FBI on him for the fraud calls he his making and he hung up. Sad to say that they are now making calls to Albuquerque New Mexico.
