got a message from him this morning. this is my 2nd call. my first lasted for 20 minutes or longer (about two months ago). and i fell for it the first time. i was petrified and knew this couldn't be real but he did sound legit and didn't have any accents. so after this second voicemail this morning, i went online and noticed all notes / records / emails of this on-going phone scam. so i called him back and this guy had an accent, placed me on hold for a few minutes while he looked for my 'file' and then i started to ask him questions, told him i knew he was behind this phone scam, and he hung up. i called him back and he wouldn't answer the phone. i got some ridiculous outgoing message that smelled of scammers. however, these guys can be tricky and sound legit. i'm sorry that they've fooled so many people!!
Left message on my phone claiming to be from the DEA...I think I get a call from a different person every month claiming to be the DEA-keep them on the phone long enough-after they keep threatening to arrest you for something you don't even know what they are talking about-they want to "wire" money to them to take it off your record....
I Got a call from them today--claiming to be DEA--HAHAHAHAHAHA another one again--nothing to worry about here as this is nothing but a scam to get you to send them money--i have reported this # to real DEA officers as of today.
Since We have charges of DEA here for this YMAX Carrier #(same thing as Magic Jack)--we will fill out report for FREE and get it up here to you people so the Police may get involved. If they are to contact us we will be glad to report what we can to the proper authorities. As soon as the Report is finished we will post up.
I got the DEA call today too....went on for 30 mins. Telling me he's going to arrest my wife who's a school teacher and send two agents to get her. Or I could have a 1 time "warning fee".... Trust me the federal gov't doesn't ask before they prosecute...they just do it. He also said they had been investigating me so I threw them a few fake bones and they went right for it. He started telling me a story about some kid named Johnny overdosing on medication.... It was rather dramatic traumatic phone call....
