They called my sister claiming to be investigators from the irs, heavy indian accent, would not provide any proof, was vague, threatened with an arrest, i looked up irs scams and Google the number listed above, also they called on a weekend, government facilities are not open on weekends, this is bogus, tell them you will sue them for harassment if they continue to call
Got a message from a heavily accented person claiming that my SSN was under investigation and I needed to call them back right away. Googled the phone number and found many who received a similar call. My first thought was that this was a scam. Didn't fall for it. Don't you fall for it either.
We have been being called from this number but I don't answer because I know it's bogus to start with. However, this morning they have left messages resembling the other messages above. Heavy Indian accents, claiming to be irs and claiming warrants will be filed if we do not contact them back.
