I got call from the same number, 202 241 4130. The guy calling had an accent and called himself "Kevin Black" and that he is from the "Federal Department of Crime Investigation Office". He ask me what form I usually use to file with IRS. Then told me you will be arrested within one hour. He kept threatening that I will be arrested.
I received a voicemail from this number, from a guy (with an indian accent) who called himself "Mike" and claiming to be from the "department of investigation" and saying that I needed to call right away. He said my social security # was listed as "prime suspect" and if I didn't call him back to "rectify" the situation, "then get ready for the legal action"
I got call from the same number, 202 241 4130. The guy calling had an accent and called himself "chris brown" and that he is from the "Federal Department of Crime Investigation Office". He said I should have received many notices in the mail and now is my last chance to resolve my legal issues or I will have the police at my doorstep. I just ignored him. He called again and I told him to stop bothering me and that was a scam. He kept threatening. I told him to shut up and stop wasting my time. Yet he kept calling. Is there a way to stop such a nuisance?
We have received same call - weird accent - saying is from "crime investigation".
What would be the right authority for check on this number? Police? Did anybody reported it?
