A person with a thick middle eastern accent, claiming to be agent Ray Santiago asked for me. He said he was an IRS agent and asked me if I was aware of a fraud charge that the IRS was going to have against me. I asked and what charge might that be? All he kept saying was it was a fraud charge. I asked him what office he was calling from and he told me from washington DC and gave me the phone number. Anyways, I asked him quesion after question and I think he lost patience with me because he just ended up cursing me out. I somehow ended up talking to anothe person (said it was his supervisor, agent Robin Wilson.) Wilson asked me if the local police department had contacted me about the fraud charge. When I questioned Wilson, he became upset, impatient, and just really lost control on the phone, and he cursed me out and ended up hanging up the phone. SCAMMERS!!!!
A person with a rather thick accent claiming to be "Brian Lincoln" called asking for my husband by name saying he was from the IRS and that there was a legal emergency he needed to discuss with my husband. Said he was at work and took a message. Called Brian Lincoln back using another number and now could plainly hear the tell-tale signs of a call center. When I asked what department he was from he instead asked me if I received a call from this number on the phone I was calling from. I said no and he asked for the number I received the call from. I said that before I gave him that number I'd like to know what department he was from. "Brian Lincoln" got upset and told me to stop wasting his time and hung up. Scam!!

I got numerous calls from the same type of guy from a think Indian or middle eastern accent person named Brian Lincoln claimig to be from the IRS,
My caller id showed his number is 315-612-2885 but did not show IRS or Brian Lincoln. I looked up the area code 315 is from New York. I told him I live in California, and he's calling me from the New York IRS on a Saturday afternoon?!! He then said HE'S calling the police?! ... and hangup...
The scammer said he's calling the police...?!
