Received a voice mail message at 12:51 p.m. 3/5/2013 from Special Agent William Wright, Badge No. CE19760, claimed to be with the DEA, and to be a Special Agent. I was advised that I was going to have a warrant issued for my arrest by 11:30 a.m. today because I ordered prescription medication on-line, and the prescriptions were provided by a foreighn country. I was advised that all of this could be avoided if I sent fines of $1,950 to Federal Officer Julio Santana, Federal Building, 1600 Fort Washington Ave., Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic, via wire transfer by "Money Gram". Well, since I work closely with the Police Department, Sheriff's Office and District Attorney's Office, I made contact with several of my friends within law enforcement. I have given them the full details of the information I gathered during my telephone call with the so-called Federal DEA Agent, William Wright. As we speak, the Investigator for the District Attorneys Office is attempting to contact the so-called DEA Agent Wright. I will post what happens later... JYI - This is a SCAM!!!!
I also got a call from "Special Agent William Wright" of the DEA. Thanks to the above posts, I now know this is a scam..............but this is now September, 2013, and it's STILL happening! Watch out for this one, and be careful.
Got a call from "Mr. Wright" from this number today leaving me a voicemail stating potential charges and warrant for my arrest. Well, Mr. Wright, you've got it all wrong! I am a single mother of a small child from Texas and I don't need this [***]...what is wrong with people these days? I wish I had enough time on my hands to prank call and try to scam people out of money for ordering prescription drugs online. What a crock - I hope Karma works her magic and you end up as someone's personal DEA drug mule - Drugs Entered in your [***] and I can only hope some internet drug lord makes you his [***] in a dark alley somewhere. You should be ashamed of yourself. I hope your mother knows about this!
Just received call from 202-241-5691 does sound very real until they ask to send money by MoneyGram to Dominican Republic Officer Randy Olivio. Read comments and my question was thankfully answered. Still scamming people. How can this be stopped?
Me too...just now..also scared me to death...Special Agent William Wright had left voice mail to the same effect..I was facing federal charges, etc... thank goodness for this web site as I googled the # 202-241-5691 and found this site. I didn't know what the world was going on --my husband also had this happen a while back as well.
