I received a phone call from DEA Agent William Wright (202) 241-5693! NOT!
Stated that I had a warrant. I was pretty scared ....... I swear I almost pooped my pants. Was so scared for something I have never done! I filled a complaint as well.
TOTAL SCAM. CALLED ANOTHER ATTORNEY'S CLIENT AND SAID HE COULD PAY $1850.00 OR BE ARRESTED. WILLIAM WRIGHT CLAIMING TO BE DEA. WHEN I CALLED THE #, IT WENT STRAIGHT TO VOICE MAIL, CLAIMING TO BE DEA IN WASHINGTON D.C. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE ACTUAL # FOR THE DEA OFFICE IN D.C.
Tell you what's really funny this William Wright is the one on the vociemail staing to leave a message! Lmao since when does the DEA not answer their phones?? Really??? Bunch of scamming losers. Reported them to the real DEA!!! Don't fall for it people!
Special Agent William Wright left a voice message stating he had issued a federal warrant and subpoena for my arrest for purchasing drugs from an international country. I returned the call at 202-241-5693 to determine what the authenticity of the call. (I should have checked the number first...). When someone finally answered the call, I asked for Special Agent William Wright and was "supposedly" transferred to his extension #118. He explained that all drugs must be approved by the FDA before entering the United States. He also stated an FBI officer would be by my home today at 2:30 p.m. to pick me up and take me to federal prison!! He then stated I could avoid imprisonment if I would send the $1,950.00 fine via Western Union to an "International" Special Agent, Tony Gomez, at 1500 Fort Washington Street, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic! I have NEVER purchased medications without a U.S. doctor's prescription particularly over the Internet or by phone. When he mentioned money, I realized it was obviously a scam! Instead of rushing to Western Union at Walmart on Siegen Lane, as he suggested, I reported him to the FBI Fraud Department and hope he is arrested for interstate fraud! This guy is with the same group of scamming thieves who repeatedly call soliciting diet medications.
