Checking messages for family -- this time he's "Officer Michael Zengato". Duh. Thanks for these websites showing this happens to others! Call was Sunday at 1:10 pm. Having worked in law firms and for law enforcement and listen to lots of stories on the news about scams, I know that official action such as this twit threatens always comes by mail. HE should be in jail, not the poor sap who could fall for this!
I was checking messages for family who are off enjoying vacation -- here's this "Officer Michael Zengato" saying he's from Treasury General Tax Administration in DC , etc. etc. etc. I ALWAYS google unknown numbers and am so thankful for websites like this! Said they are under federal indictment, case # DM 00122 and to call 202 241 6204.
I hope those who call and chat with the scumbag get enough entertainment value to even out the irritation of being a target!
