CALLER IDENTIFIED HERSELF AS KELLY PARKER W/ TAX CRIME OFFICE IN WASHING DC. GAVE A CASE # OF CM XXXXX AND WANTED A CALL BACK . DID NOT ADDRESS ME BY NAME OR TO WHAT THE CASE WAS PENDING. ALSO SAID MY HOME ADDRESS WAS UNDER INVESTIGATION, HAVE NOT CALLED BACK , BUT PLAN TO FROM A PAY PHONE.

•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
I just got this same phone call from a Kelly Parker with a case #. Not calling back. Thank goodness people are posting these notices and alerting others to this scam.
I called this number back from my work phone and the person answered, "Hello?"
I said, "Who am I speaking with?"
He said, with a semi-strong accent, but good English, "This is Warrant Officer, (didn't catch his name) from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. How can I help you?"
I said, "I am just wondering why I continue to get calls from you. If you are really from the FBI, it seems like a totally weird way to be trying to contact me."
He said, "I don't have any records of this phone number in our data base. What phone number are you referring to?"
I said, "I am calling from a different phone and prefer not to give you the number you have been calling."
He said, "Thank you. God bless you and have a good day." Then he hung up on me.
. . . Totally not a conversation that someone from the IRS or FBI would be having with me.
