Claimed to be dea and my name had come up. Said i would be investigated and he was expecting to hear back from me. This happened at this time last year too, except the claim was concerning pharmaceuticals bought online.
I received a call this morning saying they were from the DEA. I called back and got vm. They called me back and again said they were with the DEA. I told them I had reported them to US Homeland Security and they hung up. Total Scam
Got a call from this same number. Ignored it, they left the same message in regards to an investigation through the DEA, I called back from a different phone and a man answered "Drug Task Force", asked my name and put me on hold. I waited 2 minutes and hung up.
After googling the phone number and reading these reports I kinda wish I had not been put on hold and held out long enough to play their stupid game. I hung up in fear of this being a number that charges per minute for the call.
Same thing - a guy supposedly from the DEA - Captain Gregory Harris saying there was an investigation around illegal importation of "diet pills". Glad to know its a scam!
