So I left a message that I had reported them to the police........and hung up....they called back one more time but I didn't answer and they didn't leave a vm that time.....this is too much.......I am so glad I was able to type in area codes and 202 popped right up.......I hope they get whats coming to them...karma is a u know what...........we gotta stick together fellow citizens od the USA.......Peace
Ok this happen to me a day before Halloween day which is Holiday for IRS and most of the federal and state's departments! SMH. They called on Thursday 5 times which i didnt answer finally they left a vm saying that; they are calling from IRS and there is an arrest warrant against me before anything goes wrong i have to call them to sort it out! then the next day which is Halloween day they called me again at 8:35 am i didnt answer cause i was sure that they are scams there fore i started to Google IRS scams or fraud then i read that they are closed at Halloween! SMH. But I called them any ways they didnt answer as one of you mentioned it went to a voice note saying that its IRS office and they are busy now will gonna call back, leave a message, i didnt leave any messages. Finally they called me back after 2 minutes then I picked it up start talking to them; it was a lady with an Indian accent saying the same thing as she left a voice mail the last time and I said OK then I have a question what is the arrest for? she immediately got angry and said If I dont cooperate she will hang up and I'll be arrested in couple hours and I said I don't give a f**k just tell me what is the reason of my arrest and she kept saying the same thing and I said you are just a scam b**ch and I hang up. They never called me again.
Same scammer boiler room operation that called me 2 months ago. If you listen in the background you can hear others going through the same spiel. Dont call them back its a waste of your time
I got the same phone call from (202) 241-7115 DC,USA and said that I had committed tax fraud and they had issued a warrant for my arrest. The indian accent lady said that she worked for the internal revenue service investigation department and said that I owed the IRS $1,300 dollars. I was angry and told the lady that none of it made sense and figured it was all just a scam. The IRS does not contact people over the phone asking for payments in cashier checks. If anyone calls you stating they are with the IRS investigation department, tell them they are full of [***] and hang up. Block there number as well and if you can post there number on this site, it will help everyone out and put these scumbags to rest. I am from the Los Angeles county and curious what other states have been subject to fraud.
Hi, I just got a phone call from the number you guys mentioned above(202-241-7115) and I didn't answer it. Then, someone left a voice message and said he's name is Jake Johnson and he is a investigator in IRS. Luckily, I had found this page before I called back to them. I blocked this number. Don't answer this number.
