I too just got a message from that phone number claiming to be IRS two days in a row, just called it and only busy signal. I hope someone catches these jerks!

I keep getting a call from this number as well. Yesterday I called back busy line. Today they left a message via an operator voice stating the IRS has a lawsuit against me and for me to call them back I called back today and a guy pick up the phone sounds like he's from a different country stating that he is in the internal Revenue Service headquarters in Washington DC and try to get me to confirm my address and because I did not want to give him my address he stated that he will send my information to my local police department so they can arrest me at my house and then said God bless you and hang up.
Im trying to call the 800 number to irs and I can't get anyone on the phone so I can speak to them about this. It's stressing me out and for what I know I never heard of me owning anything to IRS.
What is everyone else doing about this?
Should I go to my local police station?
I called my tax people and assured me that the IRS does not call you on telephone only by mail and that you can report it to your local police. Good luck
