Got the call today 10/21, They left a message I called back and got fed the line all the above people mentioned. Officer Julie Smith transferred me to Officer Keith Morgan in the Criminal Division. Jail time, 3 charges against me etc. Warrant would be issued and I would be picked up in 2 hours to spend 7 days in jail before seeing the judge and then facing 5 years imprisonment. I have filed a complaint with FTC. No one came to my door today! I didn't offer to pay, and asked why I knew nothing about this. I got the same answer that the previous comments did....we tried 2 times and we don't send mail anymore. I asked why if they had been at my door didn't they leave a note or something, they said it is personal information and they couldn't do that. He asked who my attorney was, I said I didn't have one because I didn't know I needed one. I said I would take the one appointed when I was picked up. He hung up. My husband called back to Keith Morgan and asked for his supervisor, he claimed he was the supervisor, they had words, Keith called my husband some names and then hung up. Not very professional of the IRS; lol
