I received a call from this Indian guys saying I owe a certain amount and he was irritating me repeating the same thing over and over and not to hang up or they will contact the sheriff's office for an arrest I ask them for my DOB and he didn't say anything or to give me a supervisor and didn't have one
Got a call from this # I didn't pick up, They left a very threating voice mail. It was a man with a thick indian accent claming to be officer Steve William. He said I owe money to the irs and have counts against me. He also said if I don't call back they will have to take action. At first when I herd the voice mail I got kinda scared but it sounds like a total scam. The thing that threw me off was he knew my full name . I blocked the # be careful
I also received a call from that number. A man with a very thick accent, possibly Hispanic, identified himself as John Fernandez. He claimed to be from the I.R.S., and wanted to speak to one of my family members, whose name he had. He claimed there was a "Legal Case File" opened. I gave no information, just took his number. At first, I was intimidated, but now I am suspicious. Do I.R.S. agents call? I thought everything was presented in a letter!
Got the same call but was it recorded automated message same information but did not include my name. No the IRS would contact you personally. This is a complete scam.
I received a threatening voicemail from someone with a very thick accent. He said his name was Fernandez or Hernandez, but the accent sounded Indian to me. He claimed to be calling from the I.R.S., and said that if I do not call back, he/they will be forced to take legal action (over what, I'm not sure). It caught me off guard, but I'm pretty positive it's a scam. So sick of these fraudulent calls!
