Wow. After reading all these comments, glad we missed this call on 2/26/16 while we were on vacation. No msg left; assumed it was a political call. Then, it called again 3/16/16. I picked up and hung up immediately to break the call. It WOULDN'T LET ME! It started ringing IMMEDIATELY again. I did the same thing and AGAIN it just starting ringing immediately. It went to ans. machine, but then failed to leave a message. Scary. Kinda glad I didn't get the message; after a call that wouldn't disconnect, I might have believed it! Have read about these calls, but never got the "IRS" call before.
Got a call from this number at 1:30 pm. There was a lot of static and someone with a foreign accent asked for me using only my first name (Madeline), mispronouncing my name. I hung up.
