I just sent an electronic report to the FTC about a call I received may 31, 2017 from this number in which some person or child read to me some kind of spiel twice claiming that I was eligible through random selection for a government grant for $7,000. I told the caller that the government does not randomly select people to whom to give grant money. I demanded the caller's name twice, and caller hung up! I cannot imagine members of the federal work force calling people from this number in trying to perpetuate some kind of scam. I'm afraid that I cannot enlighten you further about this D.C. number, either. I reported my last call from it to the FTC. This call which i received from this numbers as far as I am concerned was a very bizarre Do Not Call list violation.

Anyone of thousands of callers in India an Pakistan. Hard core scammer/extortionists. They spoof area code 202. Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize. You might consider blocking the entire 202 area code.
