Received a phone message for (202) 304 6458 telling me the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me. So I called them back. The person who answered the phone had a foreign accent and did not seem to understand my southern dialect very well. He told me his name was Marvin Clark badge # 1810856. After what I guess was one too many questions, he hung up on me. When I called back I got a different IRS agent (female) who also hung up when I asked her if she was really from the IRS or was this just a scam. Sooo I just started calling back asking questions and they continued to hang up. After a while they quit answering so I picked up my cell phone and started calling again. After several calls they quit answering that phone as well. (I'll give them a little time and try again.) I know that .gov warns people not to call back however I'm retired, have unlimited calling, and hate unsolicited phone activity. I don't know about you but I honestly think if you relentlessly harass those who repeatedly bombard you with unwanted telephone solicitations they will eventually leave you alone. But don't take my word for it just ask Jason with GE Home Security. Only he can tell you why he stopped calling when I still do not have an adequate alarm system.
