If you get a phone message from the IRS saying you are being SUED by them.......ITS A SCAM.......I called them back to have fun and the guy said theres a warrant for my arrest and they on the way to my house if I dont pay now over the phone since I got audited for the past 10 years now I owe 10,000. I started to ask questions and they guy told me to stop being smart [***] and for me to shove it and hung up. Here is the number in case they call you....202-304-6458. Remember..IRS sends all documents though the mail . I hope nobody gets scammed. Can we report this number?
They were pretending to be IRS but did SO many things wrong in attempting to impersonate: IRS would send paperwork first off, second they wouldn't abbreviate their title, rather Internal Rev etc., third they wouldn't use the term lawsuit, fourth if you call a government bureaucracy you'd get some long message with numbers to pick from to reroute your call etc. This was not a very smart operation but sad that some people might get taken advantage off!!
