They said the were from the Humane Society. I listened to a long speel about the HS and then they asked me to sign up automatic for monthly donation. Told him no possible way to donate now and he kept going. I told him to just send me something in the mail as I do not give out my credit card number over the phone. He just said ok, thank you and hung up. You would think he would have asked for my address to mail something, so I suspect this may not have been a legit call.
I got a call from them yesterday, so decided to do a search to see if I could find out who it was from, and I noticed your post. Anyway, I decided to call the number back (202-315-5371)and it said it was a calling organization that calls for many different non-profits. It said if I wanted to be removed then to press 2. I have gotten calls from the Humane Society before and asked them to send me something in the mail, in which they did, but I am pretty sure they verified my address.

CALLS". Also, trying to DELETE any and ALL CALLS on my phone does not work or if it deletes the calls, then they ALL reappear again and agian. very strange behaviour going on with the phone after that call.

If you call the number back, you get a recorded message stating something like:
The number you have called belongs to "The Share Group", a call center for non-profit organizations which you may have donated to in the past.... you can select Option 2 to have your number taken off the call list... but it may take up 72 hours for your request to be processed...
Sounds good right?? Well, I called and selected option 2 over a week ago but they've continue to call. Argh!!! If they call me again I plan to file a complaint with the FCC.
