There is silence when I pick up and when I call back, the number is supposedly not in service. This has happened 3 times today. I want to reach through the phone and go O341 on them for having wasted my valuable time.
The call is a scam. They say they are from the US Treasury and they have funds waiting for you. They then try to verify your name, mailing address and other information. NEVER EVER say this is the correct address. Always ask them for THEIR home address. They will say Washington DC. That's when you say that is not an address. That's a city now what is YOUR home address. Usually after you ask that question a few times they will say "What you want my address for"? You respond with will it's only fair I have your address if you expect me to give you mine. They will hang up and not call back.

I spend a lot of time wasting their time. I pretend like I'm hearing impair and ask them to repeat themselves over and over. I tell them I have memory issues and to bare with me. I will say hold on I dropped my ______. I then wait a minute or so then say Hello. Is this the pizza delivery I ordered? Or my doctor office, my shopping ride, my nephew, anything to keep them on the line. The more they have to repeat themselves the angrier they get. They will end up hanging up on you and so far none have called back. It's always a different call center calling about something else.
OMG....Love this!!!
because they want to know about my birth control pills.....and i was caught off guard by that question!!! they have called about 5 times with various number like, 202-333-2221 and 206-237-0050
I received that same message and response. But I *67 the number and it said that it was NOT a working number. Tell me, how in the HELL can this happen and no-one in the (so called) GOVERNMENT can't chase down and catch these people for their scams! QNWhat are getting paid for?
