Thanks! Same thing happened to me. He asked me for my mailing address to verify my identity. Then needed time to write it down so I got suspicious. He also didn't know if I owed or filed my taxes last year or not! And the guy wouldn't email me the information regarding what he claime I owed.
I received numerous complaints today about this number and their message. NO it is NOT the IRS! You'll get a letter in the mail first and then maybe a knock at your door way before they call you.

called back, the individual Refused to answer. I stayed waiting for the phone to be picked up, the call ended with
a whisper of "what are you doing, hang up the phone!"
