Total IRS tax fraud scam. Cannot even believe after reading all of these reports that these people think they can still make these calls and try to frighten people. Complete BS and I would love to see the people behind this be arrested.
IRS scam here too...they told me the police are on the way...told them fine, I would stay home and wait for them to arrest me. Cursed at me and hung up. Idiots!
Typical you have tax fraud scam. The police are on their way- unless you pay us now. The use of the DC area code was a nice touch. But with all the times I have spent on the phone with the IRS over the years, no one I ever talked to was actually in DC.
FYI, the IRS will always contact you by mail. They won't call you. If this call has you worried, hang up and call the IRS number from IRS.gov
