I received the "Lawsuit" call. IRS site lists alerts for this call and call like it. The Service also indicates that if such an issue really existed, it would be handled by mail, not phone calls!
I came home to find a message from this number this afternoon. The message said it was IRS calling, and they were filing a lawsuit against me. What a joke. I know they were scammers. IRS doesn't call, they send letters.
Total scam! I just received a message that the irs is filing a claim against me. I know it's a scam because the taxes aren't filed under my name, they are filed under my husband and they certainly don't have my cell phone number. IRS DOES NOT CALL YOU. THEY WOULD SEND A LETTER. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS
