Just received the same call, I was given a # and told to call "John Smith". I find it very hard to believe that the man I spoke to and could hardly understand, name is "John Smith". I was told to call him back after I reached the Western Union location provided by him. I was to wire 190.00 to cover the insurance of my grant. You see "if I had applied for the grant then the government would cover the insurance. Since I was just randomly selected I have to cover the insurance myself. "
Yes they called me yesterday taking about sending them $120 for fees, but whe I question them the guy got angry. Now he won't even aswer his phone. The government need to do something to get these people from stealing from us. WE ARE TRIED OF THE BULL!!!!!!
I was called by the 253-503-1384 number claiming that i had been chosen to get a grant opproval of 7000 dollars and to call gary taylor at 202-370-7640. when i got someone on the phone they put me on hold and hung up. they said i would receive my money in 45 munites. well this is a bunch of bull and the numbers i gave them on my checking account they will not be able to get nothing from me because the bank always call me first when someone is trying to get money from my account because of fraud. so they better watch out cause my bank is waiting for them to do something so they can bring up charges.
I think I got scammed by these jerks. I gave them my saving account information, and I have to wait until the bank opens before I know if my account has been robbed. These people are crooks.
