Lady said she was calling to confirm who I was and I had been chosen as one of the 1500 people the U.S. Federal Government had chosen to get the money. She had me following everything she wanted at first because almost two weeks prior to her phone calli had filled out applications for grants for employment retraining. Luckily my husband said something wasn't right and let me know his suspicions. I did not call Micheal Ford to give him my confirmation #! Scary to think about it, this woman had my personal information before calling me!
Caller says they are calling from US department of grants, you've been awarded a grant for 5400,
they ask where you would like your money sent ,your credit card or debit card even bank account.
They give you a claim number and a phone number to call to claim the money.

A woman offered me a grant. I could hardly understand her, she said her name was Karen Sigh (?). I said I didn't have a credit card or Bank account and would like them to send me a check. She asked me what I would use the money for and she asked me my age. I'm supposed to call 202-370-7646 with my ID number (which she gave me) within 45 minutes and speak to Michael Ford. I'm sure he would ask me for my information and proceed with the scam...
Yeah AFTER they take all your information, then they tell you that you have to pay a few hundered dollars in taxes BEFORE they send you your Grant money.
