Just received two phone calls on the landline today from 202-378-4907. Same message as the others. The IRS is going to file a lawsuit against us if we don't call this number back. Did not return the call.
With IRS audits up in the last 7 years what a brilliant con, however it is still a big con. Do Not fall for this crap, my first clue was receiving the call at 6:30 in the morning. IRS money crabbers are eager but they DO NOT call and they will never be up that early to harass you for a legitimate debt.
I, too, got a IRS scam call from this number this morning at 6:44 AM PST. IRS never calls. Also just saw this scam reported on our local news last night.
