This is a place of business that they have called and left the message that the irs is filing suite against. It is a scam. Irs sends letters they don't call you on the phone or send emails
Same as all the others, 2 calls today, caller ID come up The World Bank. Stated the IRS is filing a law suit, call back at 202-386-0929. Don't even answer these calls.
this number called me several times throughout the day 1/19/16. I decided to answer because it wasn't a familiar number. there was a message saying i was being sued by the IRS and this was my final notice. I called the number back and the foreign csr asked for my phone number. I gave it to him and when he asked for my name i declined. I asked him what was the call in reference to and he wouldn't say. I told him I wouldn't give him my name without knowing what the call was in reference to and I asked to speak with someone else. He asked me why did I want to speak with someone else. I asked why couldn't he tell me what the call was in reference to. He put me on hold and came back and asked me was my name...He knew my name but I didn't and wouldn't verify. I just hung up. I knew something wasn't right.
