They called me from an unknown caller, of course I answered. and it was a women that had a accent that I could barely understand. she said that I was chosen to receive $10,000 in grants by the government. she told me all my information from addressee to phone number. she then gives me a confirmation number and a phone number to call 202-407-9149 to claim this $10,000 in grants. a guy name victor robbins answers, same accent and told me the info in how to receive this money. now he said have you used western union before? and I said no. so he explained how to use it to get my money. well guess what?! they wanted me to pay $255 for a transfer fee from new york to Arizona .... this is a scam do not trust this number or any one who said that you got free grants from the government. cause its not true!! government is thirsty for our hard working money! why would they give it back to us!!
i got the same call first from an unknown number, they told me the same thing told me it would cost 250 for the money so i said just deduct it from the $10,000 they said they cant do that so i said i cant send 250. if they are giving the money why cant they just deduct the 250??? yep scam
Woman with an asian accent called me from this #➡ (202)407-9149. She knew all my info and continued to say that I too had be chosen to receive a 10,000$ federal government grant. She claimed to be working out of the US Treasury Department in washington DC and she sound so believable. Told me that the money can be transferred into and account of my choice within 45 minutes but of course if I pay a (One time IRS tax fee) via savings, checking or money gram. I said money gram but of course weren't. She also provided me with a grant id #. I hate these scam f#@%$. Stop playing with peoples lives. I'm a stay at home mother and wouldn't thing twice about paying strangers. Only thing now is that im afraid of identity theft cause she knew all my info and address
