Yeah, I just received the same phone call. The man I spoke with has a very strong Middle Eastern accent, and the name he gave me was Justin Miller. SCAM SCAM SCAM
Received call telling me I had received a $10,000 grant and it could be paid directly into my banking account, a card with a zero balance, credit/debit or Western Union. I was told to call account manager back at 202-407-9149. The entire thing was like the agent of the phone was reading from a teleprompter. I took down the information but I am 100% positive it is a scam, even before I read the other posts. Also - I don't believe in taking from the government what I have not earned or qualify for. The U.S. Government already has all my information and my bank account number - they file it with a department called IRS. If this were legitimate, I think a more articulate person would have contacted me and put it in writing.
I just recieved the call.i was skeptical all the way through. They never said anything about wanting money from me till the very end. 250.00 tranaction fee, whatever. Wasted a good 20 min. of my life for ( f' them). I just randomly checked were this area code was from and wala,i came apon this site. Im so very glad this site was here. I got the same call today. Never believe that you will get anything for free. I started fantasizing though. Never called the number. Just put the number in the search field and saw the same info. The government wants to give you money. You have been randomly selected. You pay your bills on time so the government wants to give you this money. There is nothing for free.
