Said I qualify for a once in a lifetime grant of $9,000 for paying my taxes and bills on time. I was told to call 202-738-4261 and give a number that identifies me to his supervisor to discuss how I'll receive the funds.I didn't call. This number is now blocked.
I have received multiple calls from this number telling me that I qualify for a 9000.00 grant. I have asked them repeatedly to remove my name from their list and stop calling. The last call I asked to speak to the supervisor and the caller said no and hung up. What can I do to make these people stop calling me.
The individual who called me stated he had spoken with me before about a federal grant. I simply replied I did not call them, I have not inquired about any federal grants/loans, and that I have asked them several times to stop calling me and to please take me off of there calling list. THEY KEEP CALLING....
Got a call telling me I was selected for a grant which I had to pay $99 to get the cheque cleared and sent out. The idiot at the other end didn't even wait for me to think it through trying to rush me he asked how I would like to pay. Im sure he was subtly suggesting paying by card because that seems to be the only feasible method of making payment from a distance. Any way I got the drift and told him if id really won a grant he could deduct the money from it and send me the difference. His response was to hang up as he had hit a brick wall. Number now blocked.
