If they will stay on the line, you can actually have some fun with them. Ask probing questions about the "grant." tell them you haven't heard of the Grants Department. Thus is such an obvious scam...
Ask if there is a .gov web site you can go to and confirm the grant...
202-407-9185 continues its same methods of operation. The broken English caller repeated "Bose" three times. She hung up after I said that I was not the Bose speaker company. They are allowed to continue by our non defensive administration .
Just got a call 20 min ago. The number had been calling all day so I finally answered. It was an indian man. When I asked him where he was calling from he hung up. I call the number back and the call won't go through. SHADY!

I got a call from this number 11/29/14 for a Indian sounding female, with a lot of people in the back ground, telling me the Government, I had a grant for me for $9,000, because I paid my taxes on time, each year. The only information I gave was, “what, “what, what, hope she was not recording my voice for some kind of scam. After the WHAT’S she stated you don’t want it. and slams the phone down. They knew my e-mail address prior to this someone came into my home and stole my personal information. BEWARE OF THIS PHONE NUMBER #202-407-9185

This number has called me three times this week, once when I was driving home and twice at work, obviously I didn't answer it. but as I read your posts I know it is a scam
I also received a call from the Indian guy indicating that I had been selected for a $10,000 grant. He asked me to verify my address, which he had indicated, my phone number and my age (which I did not). He also asked me if I had children and I ask him why was he asking these questions if the grant was for home improvements. I believe this is some sort of scam.
