Rec'd the call saying that I have been chosen for a free $9000.00 grant from the US Government because I pay my taxes on time. I was told if I go to WalMart & complete a money gram & my $9000.00 will be fwd'd to me. But remember, I was told, it is all FREE. I kept these two guys on the line as long as possible then informed him that I am an employee of the Attorney General's office in my state. We got disconnected. Imagine that!
I got the same call. A barely english speaking chinese accent guy who was trying to convince me that I was going to get $9000. Why don't our telephone companies track down these scammers who hurt our senior citizens and vulnerable people.
Phony call from 202-455-6591 saying i have gov grant of 9000.00 just have to pay 255.00 for transfer fees i told him you don't pay money too get money started to argue i hung up
