Got the same call this morning 11/12/14 saying to call 202-464-2549. My phone log shows it came from 934-561-3641. A call yesterday also that showed a Seattle number 253-204-7575 and there was a person on the phone with an accent that was barely understandable. Today an automated call telling me I must call this Washington DC number or I would be sued. I will report this today as mentioned in this article.
(I hope they call again at a time when I can answer with no one else within ear shot. They will get some very understandable English words.)
Got a call from 933-569-3631 about this IRS lawsuit against me and to call back at 202-464-2549 to follow up on this case. What a scam! Watch out everyone.
Claiming to be IRS who is filing a suit against me. This is a scam! Don't call or give any information. The IRS will generally notify you by mail if there is a problem.
