Called saying i was eligible to recieve $10200 if i give them my bank account, credit card, or western union of $210. Gave me a # to call them with my western union green dot card...2063171435 and said i had to pay the western union in new york to get the $
They have called me repeatedly saying I am eligible for a "Grant" from "The United States Government" for $10,000. I have asked them to remove my phone number; they keep calling.
Keep getting these calls and I have told them multiple times to take my number off the list. I finally snapped at the lady with a very heavy accent claiming she was calling from Washington D.C. and it was regarding a grant. I feel sorry for the people who fall for this scam. She ended up trying to mimic everything I was saying which I highly doubt anyone from the "Government" would do... I just don't understand why they can't somehow put an end to this type of scam.
A lot of these calls are coming from India or other foreign country's where we have no jurisdiction.
