just receiced another call from this # on my cell...didnt answer and no message left on VM...called it back and was instructed to press 2 to be removed from their "special promotions list"....I am on the do not call registry and really wish they would stop these calls. does anyone know how to report these calls and actually get results?
It is a telemarketing firm war dialing every possible phone number.
This week they are going through 416 area code. Next week they will move on to another. They reassign their phone number constantly so there is no long term way to track them.
looked at my Roger's cell and saw I missed a phone call at 3:45pm. No message left. (202)495-7170 was on the display. Looked up the area code and found Washington D.C. Was reassured when I found this site with a bunch of poeple complaining, so now I know it's a scam and not the CIA afte me. haha.
This is my second crap call of the day. First one was from 416-000-7954. I missed the call and they didn't leave a message. Now this one. This is complete crap. Obviously I'm not the only one tired of dealing with these people.
I get these calls lately.. one thats a car insurence thats about to expire and the second one thats to help the credit depts. I dont own a car nor a credit card or anything in that matter,they just keep calling my cell phone everyday at around 1-4pm. Im getting fed up of it.Been happening for about a month now. How did they get my cell phone number in the first place?.
Ive heard that it is illigal for companys like that to call a cellphone,because cell phones are for personal use i am guessing.
