just receiced another call from this # on my cell...didnt answer and no message left on VM...called it back and was instructed to press 2 to be removed from their "special promotions list"....I am on the do not call registry and really wish they would stop these calls. does anyone know how to report these calls and actually get results?
recived a call to my cell from this number: (202) 495-7170. on feb 21st 2009. Did not answer it, I dont pick up longdistance callers. I am a rogers pay as you go user and wont waste minuits on numbers unknown to me.
got call from same number, virgin mobile, when hit 1 to get agent i asked for thier name, company worked for and to be removed from list and he hung up. did have overseas accent.
Received call on my cell--an unpublished number (obviously)--in Canada from 202-495-7170 at 10:38 AM (GMT-5), February 21, 2009. As I don't KNOW anyone in Washington DC, and since I'm not a politician, I see absoltely no reason why--unless Barack is planning on sending me a few hundred billion--anyone in Washington DC would want to talk to me in the first place.
OBVIOUSLY suspect, and especially so given other people's comments above.
This number called my Cell phone (Telus, Canada) and as they talked i hung up I have no interest in what they had to say, I then was so mad I called it back and it says press 1 to be on the do not call list, I did it! Hoping that is the end of it but from what i read "not a good idea" So i called the # again and then they want me to press 2 to join up wierd!!
