I got a call from this this Exact number a few days ago. It was a foreign guy and he said my first and last name repeatedly over and over then he appeared to have hung up and thought the message was no longer recording when he said " F### You, This F####ing P###Y Won't answer, I can't believe her!" I am really creeped out and want to find this guy! What can I do??
I received the same telephone call. Offering a $9,000 grant to pay for home improvements, student loans, personal needs, pay off debt, etc.... My husband works for the US Government and they do not make calls to consumers to "give money away". It's a SCAM. We are registered on the National Do Not Call list but we received calls from the same telephone number 202-506[-1967 more than once.
I JUST GOT THE SAME CALL, AND THE GUY(WITH AN ACCENT) GAVE ME A GRANT APPROVAL NUMBER AND ANOTHER NUMBER TO CALL 239-244-3962
A WOMEN ANSWERED (ALSO HAD AN ACCENT)AND ASKED ME IF I CAN GET TO A WESTERN UNION TO PICK UP MY $9,000.00 BUT I HAD TO GIVE HER BACK $399.00.
IT'S A SILLY SCAM! HOW CAN THEY THINK PEOPLE WOULD FALL FOR IT?
Because people do. We are not as "smart" or as educated as we think we are. It has nothing to do with IQ. What is has everything to do with is logic. I have an idea.
