They said I was approved for a loan from 1000$ up to 5000$ or even more. I really did apply for an online payday loan and after I filled out the application they put my app in like a pool of lenders. It could be how they got my number. But I think its a scam cuz they wanted to put money in my account then wanted me to send them 200$ back but they did say that they would give me the 200$ extra. They said they did that to make sure I'm who I said I am for security purposes. I don't know. I didn't do it of course but I still don't know of their legit.
I got few missed call from this number, I called back and an Indian guy answered, he said this is Internal Revenue Service.
I asked him what is that about. He hanged up.
Irs never call you, they sent you official mail. Especially, he called my cellphone.
Be careful, about this type of scam
Report that number to FTC and irs
If you manage to get him on the phone record his voice on your cell. It can be use as evidence, base in voice recognition.
This happened to me yesterday ALL day long & when I asked what it was about, I got hung up on. First of all I don't know how they got my cell phone # !! This went on all day & if I didn't pick up I received a message telling me it was the IRS. When I did pick up & asked why he was bothering me & what did he want ... the idiot hung up & kept harrassing me all day. Same thing - it was a man with an Indian accent that talked & it was a woman that sounded British who would leave the messages. I knew it was a scam because of the way they handled themselves. Unbelievable - how do they get away with this crap?
