I got a recording from (202) 509-5449 also. I was at work and the call freaked me out. I immediately called it back. They gave me a name they were looking for and I said that wasn't me, I gave them my name and city I lived but that is all. I didn't realize this was a scam. I hope I didn't make a huge mistake!
Got a call from 202--509-5449 at 1:20 pm today Jan. 15 saying it was IRS with final notice, that IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to call the above number.
