I also got a call from this number and when I called back someone answered, didn't speak good English and said it was IRS and that a warrant for my arrest had been issued if I didn't pay in full. He said his name was Dominick Spencer. Should I report this to the police?
Let's just say I recorded all of the phone calls that I had received from this # and any all calls for that matter. Only first letting them know that they were on a recorded line. I called them back numerous times and got the same as everybody else.
One of the Recorded phone conversations I have has one of the Arabs telling me that he in fact said that he wanted me to [***].
So I contacted the FBI.
Also "Dominic Spencer - IRS ID Badge # AT966290DC". Very heavy Indian accent - claiming that if my husband didn't Wire Transfer $500 in the next 20 minutes, he would be arrested on an open warrant for failure to pay taxes in the amount of $2,450.00. My husband told him that we have our taxes done by a licensed preparer and there was no way we owed any money and "Dominic's" response was that the preparer wouldn't be held responsible anyway. He told my husband that he couldn't take any Credit Cards or Debit cards or a Western Union transfer, it had to be a Moneygram Wire transfer. He knew our address and told him he could go to a local CVS in our area, he provided the address, to make the transfer.
