It's not a scam.
You've jumped to several jump (erroneous) conclusions.
1. You assumed I asked them to call. I did not. Never said I did.
2. You assumed I gave them my phone #. I did not. Never said that, either. (BTW, it's unlisted.)
3. You also assumed I knew their phone #. I did not. Never said I did.
This must cause you a lot of trouble in your personal relationships.
