Called asking for teen daughter stating that she applied for a job with Maxwell co. In San Diego.knowing it was a scam, I asked for more information and could barely understand him through thick middle Eastern accent. He finally gave up and said he would email me information and hung up. Of course I didn't offer my email and refused to hand daughter the phone. Scammers..Sounded like a sex trafficking scam at first too.
Female caller with VERY heavy Asian accent who says she is calling from different government agencies, one time US Federal something, another from the Treasury Department and then hangs up when I contest who she is.
This number calls numerous times per day. No messages left. When I pick up, we play the hello-hello game. They ask for me by my first name with a heavy accent; usually Mediterranean. When I say excuse me, they hang up. I've received about 5 calls per day for the last week. Reported it on the FTC website. I'm sure they have many phone numbers.
