I didn't check caller ID before I answered as I was expecting a call on sunday evening... no response to my "good evening"... hang up within 10 seconds.
So I was sitting here thinking about how theyre like spies, thousands of them and then some girl said "why are you so upset with your life?" and I said., well,. because of this exactly. Why do you, a voice unknown to me, bother with my frustration? What good will we focus on instead. So then, seconds later, my telephone rings., I answer with a "HellO." and the person says nothing and hangs up 8 seconds later. its a 202 number., now im upset because someone just called me and hung up during a time of serious contemplation. so i call the number back, and get answer service. I look the number up on the internet and it belongs to the ("Biblically Inspired") Concerned Women For America (.org) had called me and hung up. Like divine inspiration., WASHINGTON D.C.'s Concerned WCFA.ORG had decided to give me a ring... why. Just to let me know theyre abunch of telemarketers working for a higher level of telemarketing insanity. Or theyre a bunch of Do Gooding Telemarketers., Mickey Mouse Club... Its probably some fake gov operation. Caution: If you are potentially altering the world consiousness, you may be interupted. You know how many telemarketers have crashed into my car because theyre too busy dialing they dont see me. The purpose of telemarketing is this: STOP and ANSWER YOUR PHONE. Why? So all those who run telemarketing agencies should just shut up and send me all your money, i accept internet money also. Go upgrade your plumbing and business' structural techniques instead of calling up troubled youths of america and hanging up on them... ::click::

Phone rang, waited for caller ID to display name & phone number. Picked up phone but did not say "hello" or anything else. After a couple seconds, automated message started to give spiel asking us to visit their website (stupid)voter(fat)roll(annoying)callDOTcom. Parenthesis placed to avoid linking to their site.
I didn't go to the site, since they should not be rewarded for bothering me with a pre-recorded message which, last I knew, was not supposed to be legal.
One other thing I thought of: if they set up their autodialer to only call one number every few minutes, then they theoretically could link the IP of a hit soon afterward to a specific phone number. This would be an interesting data collection method.
Just received this call at 8:45. Don't know if its telemarketer or another of those stupid and annoying political polls. Isn't there supposed to be a limit to how late these idiots can call and disturb people. I just had my little one to sleep and now have to start over again.
