my daughter, son in law and 10 month old grandson were killed sunday night in a fatal accident with a reckless 18 wheeler... no one survived, these folks started calling the house and offering to make a memorial for the "family" naturally i lost my temper and told him there was no family left and hung up on him, he then called back and said he was trying to give us government grant money because of the accident . even after i begged him to stop calling the house he has called 2-6 times for the last 3 days... its now thursday after my duaghter and grandson's death.. he even left 2 messages while e were at the funeral home trying to get the coroner to release them so we could cremate....... i think this is pretty messed up. i just lost my only daughter and my only grandson... what [***] these vultures are.....if our government can see everythinhg . why can't big brother shut this crap down? i know scammers are lower than low, but this was worse than that...
My son received a call from this number wanting information on my ex-husband who was killed in a car accident 2 days ago. We have been divorced for 15 years and my son is from a previous marriage and has a different last name. The man said he was from a non-profit organization that helps families in crisis. I told him I would get the telephone number to his family, but he just wanted names and info of family members. Obviously I did not give him any info. What is wrong with people? Trying to take advantage of a family who is devastated over the loss of their loved one is just low!!!
